Business Challenge

  • Remove existing client equipment and complete 500+ Data, Voice, Alarm and CCTV pharmacy conversions in under a (6) month timeframe

  • Rewarded additional stores, pharmacies and states during the course of the project

  • Sole integrator servicing data (IT), low voltage, alarm and CCTV

  • Working within (2) retailers

  • Dispatch techs in the allocated time frame for night work, long hours and heavy schedule 

  • Dispatch certified alarm and union techs in correlation to state (s)

  • Communication among several trades including: Client corporate operation teams (IT, LP), client Rollout Center (ROC), client decommission team, RX team, store managers, equipment manufacturers, general contractors, field technicians and vendors

Solutions

Phases 1-4, Low Voltage Cabling, Fiber, CCTV, Alarm, Voice and Data installations:

  • Field technicians performed site surveys in the pharmacy, clinic and control room

  • Demarc extension, pharmacy structured cabling, cable termination

  • Pulled fiber and 25 pair from the new server location to the pharmacy server location and installed IDF

  • APS warehoused and programmed cameras and alarm   panels

  • Installed, focused and mounted preprogrammed cameras and alarm panels

  • Ran cable for motions, keypads, lock boxes, gate contacts, door contacts and secured them all back into the panel

  • Client hardware equipment install

  • Initial client equipment removed, original client equipment installed, such as, workstations, PCs, access points, printers, fax machines and phones

Project Management

  • APS Project Managers and Coordinators on site at client corporate headquarters and client Rollout Center (ROC)

  • Work with both the client Rollout Center and on site operations teams (IT, LP) for alarm testing , camera view verification and final testing of phone systems and all network equipment

  • Provided field technicians needed documentation subsequent to the scheduled phase

  • Create an expansive SOW for every phase

  • Pilot Stores: PM and lead tech (s) complete full SOW subsequent to the project taking place

  • Internal, online project management software, Advanced Real-time Console for:

  • Completion of 500+ pharmacy conversions in the allotted time frame

  • Increased technician field pool and service capabilities   nationwide
